While half of what makes The Plothole great is all the types of stories that thrive here, the other half is all the great people that makes up the community. Whether you're wholly new and know nobody or already best friends with everyone here, please share as much as you're comfortable sharing about yourself with the rest of us. :) And of course, if you're not comfortable sharing much of anything, at least post here to say hi!
As for myself, my name is Scott, known here and much of my other internet places as Gebohq. I live in Baltimore, Maryland, USA and have lived in Maryland for all my live, though I've traveled to other parts of the USA as well as Canada, England, Ireland, Germany, Australia, and Japan. I'm 6'6" / 2 meters tall and was born on Sept. 8th, 1983, putting me on the old end of the Millenial generation. I've have a bachelor's degree in Media and Communication Studies with a minor in writing, and I've been a software tester for over a decade, though I'm now recently and officially a scrum master for a virtual school marketing development team owned by Pearson.
Boring demographic statistics aside, I'm an avid gamer (video, card, board, etc.) and design whatever game stuff. I also enjoy improvised acting, tai chi, Agile methodologies, exploring random places and things, philosophy, comedies and animations of a broad variety, and as you might imagine, fiction writing as well as communication/media-related things in general. I've been writing collaborative stories, including The Never-ending Story, since the summer of 1999, and I hope to continue doing so indefinitely.
I also own two cats: Xue (top) and Glitch (bottom). Despite their appearances, they are not related, but they get along pretty well. You can see them here:
